I currently live in Florence, Italy with my beautifully chaotic blended family: my teenage daughter Giada, my tween stepson Zeno, my partner Luca, a chef from Treviso, and our adored Sicilian rescue puppy, Frankie.

I offer guidance to US students of all ages wanting to spend meaningful time in Italy or enroll in a degree granting Italian undergraduate or graduate program.

I am fortunate and honored to have enjoyed a long and successful career in study abroad at Stanford University’s Breyer Center for Overseas Studies in Florence. I recently left Stanford to realize my dream of helping more people find their path; academic, personal, or cultural, to my adoptive city and country.
Since I’m also your US insider in Italy, I assist Italians who want to study or have impactful cultural or academic experiences in my home country.
